Philip has taken his years of legal experience to the service of the community, in particular, related to the redevelopment of Winnipeg as a thriving and prosperous city. Philip completed his term as Chair of The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce in 2005 and completed his term as a Director of the Winnipeg Convention Centre in 2009.
