Bowman appointed VP/Chair Elect of WAG Board

Brian Bowman, has recently been appointed to the position of Vice-President/Chair Elect of the Board of Directors for the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG), Canada's oldest civic art museum.
In the announcement, Board President Naomi Levine said that Brian's "enthusiasm, skills, and talents are perfectly suited to help the WAG move forward at the Board of Governors level and with their capital campaign".
The Winnipeg Art Gallery is celebrating its Centennial year with an unparalleled series of exhibitions, programs, and events promoting the power of art in life. As Manitoba's leading art museum, the WAG is home to over 26,000 works of art spanning ten centuries, including the world's preeminent collection of contemporary Inuit art.
