


Raising the Bar - Scoring Process
Each sponsorship opportunity will be evaluated against the following criteria:
- Firm event for Firm based goals or is this an individual lawyer request for a specific client
- Specific sponsor benefits offered by the event (are these common logo soup options or do they offer an opportunity to differentiate)
- Specific activity the event is doing to promote our involvement - not their event
- Ability to address a specific target audience
- Direct Relevance to the Firm values - must address at least one of the six Firm Values
- Leadership
- Integrity and Professionalism
- Working together
- Respect
- Commitment and Responsibility to Community
- Value the client
- Exclusivity in industry category (cannot have other Firms in the event)
- Ability to own a particular element of the event (not just take cash at different levels)
- Opportunity to leverage involvement in the event (including opportunities to stand out from other sponsors)
- Opportunity to deliver the Pitblado message within the event
- Opportunity to conduct client relationship activities at the event
- Opportunity to involve employees in the event
- Opportunities to create peripheral activities related to the event
- Relevance to Firm marketing or to specific client activity
