Raising the Bar - Scoring Process

Each sponsorship opportunity will be evaluated against the following criteria:

  1. Firm event for Firm based goals or is this an individual lawyer request for a specific client
  2. Specific sponsor benefits offered by the event (are these common logo soup options or do they offer an opportunity to differentiate)
  3. Specific activity the event is doing to promote our involvement - not their event
  4. Ability to address a specific target audience
  5. Direct Relevance to the Firm values - must address at least one of the six Firm Values
    • Leadership
    • Integrity and Professionalism
    • Working together
    • Respect
    • Commitment and Responsibility to Community
    • Value the client
  6. Exclusivity in industry category (cannot have other Firms in the event)
  7. Ability to own a particular element of the event (not just take cash at different levels)
  8. Opportunity to leverage involvement in the event (including opportunities to stand out from other sponsors)
  9. Opportunity to deliver the Pitblado message within the event
  10. Opportunity to conduct client relationship activities at the event
  11. Opportunity to involve employees in the event
  12. Opportunities to create peripheral activities related to the event
  13. Relevance to Firm marketing or to specific client activity
