Cora Eaton



Cora comes to law with a professional background of 15+ years and is now focused on building a Corporate and Commercial Law practice.

Cora is a corporate commercial lawyer adept at advising a range of clients, from emerging start-ups to established companies. In her work, she focuses acutely on each client’s unique situation to deliver practical and strategic legal solutions in line with their needs and goals.

Her practice encompasses a full range of business matters, including tech transactions and agreements, app, website, software and IP issues, commercial contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations, corporate and regulatory matters, charities and not-for-profits, cannabis and entertainment law.

Cora comes to law with a professional background of over 15 years. Prior to joining Pitblado, Cora worked as Manager of Project Development and Communications for one of Winnipeg’s leading architectural firms where she led the firm’s business procurement process for large-scale capital projects. She has been involved in consultation and organizational change in small and large-scale organizations, both private and public. This experience gives Cora a broad appreciation for a diverse range of needs and perspectives.

Cora received her J.D and B.A. (with Distinction) from the University of Manitoba and holds certificates in Drafting and Negotiation IT Agreements, and Cannabis Law and Regulation from Osgoode Hall Law School.
