Brant's corporate and real estate clients rely on his advice at all stages of their business operations. His clients include entrepreneurs who are taking the leap and are incorporating and organizing a new company, professional corporation, or partnership, as well as growing and established businesses.
Acting for businesses and their owners means that Brant spends a lot of his time providing advice to his clients and working with their advisory teams to help close the deal or get the contract signed.Whether buying or selling assets or shares, bringing in a new partner, transitioning a business to new owners, or preparing the contract, Brant is counted on to provide his clients with the practical legal advice they need to accomplish their goals.
Over time, Brant's practice has also taken on an ever growing commercial real estate component.Brant has experience in advising sellers, purchasers, developers, REITS, institutional funds, and banks and credit unions on matters related to buying, selling, developing, or financing commercial real estate in Manitoba.
Brant also advises clients on governance issues.
While growing up in rural Manitoba, Brant has called Winnipeg home since 1998 and he now counts himself as a proud Winnipegger.Brant believes in giving back to his community.He has served on the Board of Directors for Triathlon Manitoba and is currently a member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Governance Subcommittee of Variety - The Children's Charity of Manitoba.
