Leith is building a practice in both Winnipeg and the Interlake, Manitoba, which has a primary focus on real estate and related commercial matters. He also maintains a general commercial practice that involves various transactional activities, secured lending, corporate structuring and governance, privacy and advocacy. Leith completed his law and journalism degrees in Australia, having previously studied abroad in both Washington and Denmark. He embarked upon his legal career in Winnipeg in 2011, after achieving a Certificate of Qualification through the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2012, receiving the distinguished A. Montague Israels Prize.
