PITBLADO SUPPORTS HUFF, A THEATRE PROJECTS MANITOBA PLAY AIMED AT BUILDING CONVERSATION WITH YOUTH ON FIRST NATIONS ISSUES

Pitblado Law proudly supports Theatre Projects Manitoba's February 2017 production, Huff, a wrenching, yet darkly comic play aimed at building conversations with Manitoba youth regarding the key issues facing First Nations communities.

The production provides an opportunity for high school-aged Winnipeggers to take in the production and gives a platform for conversations about First Nations communities, human rights, abuse, and addiction. Students will gain better understanding of key issues in First Nations communities while being introduced to dynamic Indigenous performance in Canada.

Pitblado Law supported this initiative through its Raising the Bar initiative.

Raising the Bar is a program that provides funding to a variety of individual youth and youth-based programs in Manitoba. It provides opportunities for growth, development, and learning for youth. By investing in the leaders of tomorrow, we create a better community, a brighter Winnipeg, and a stronger Manitoba together.
