Congratulations are in order for three Pitblado articling students who received their 2022 Call to the Bar. Connor Cleverley, Madison Laval, and Trevor Yakimchuk join the Firm as Associate Lawyers.
During his undergraduate degree, Connor attended the University of Toronto on a hockey scholarship, where he played four seasons for the University of Toronto Varsity Blues. He went on to graduate from the Dual Juris Doctor program at the University of Windsor, and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Connor obtained both a Canadian Juris Doctor, and an American Juris Doctor.
Prior to completing her Juris Doctor, Madison obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Manitoba with a major in Psychology and a minor in French. Throughout law school, Madison was actively involved in the Manitoba Law Students’ Association, serving as Chair of the Marketing and Communications Committee.
Trevor obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba with a major in Sociology and a minor in History prior to pursuing law. Trevor began his legal studies at the University of North Dakota, before transferring to the University of Manitoba in 2019. Trevor subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall.
