Biography

Susanne Dandenault maintains an Aboriginal law-focused corporate and commercial practice along with an emphasis on co-operative enterprises. Based in Winnipeg and called to the bar in Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, she advises First Nations, Métis, Inuit organizations, co-operatives, northern communities, not-for-profits, and privately held businesses across Manitoba and Northern Canada.

Drawing on two decades of legal experience, including senior in-house counsel roles, Susanne provides practical advice on governance, member relations, commercial contracting, capital structuring, financing, real estate, and corporate transactions. She also advises on Aboriginal law matters, including projects on reserve and throughout Canada.

Susanne has experience supporting Indigenous organizations and northern enterprises with affordable housing initiatives, real estate development, project financing, civil litigation and complex multi-lender and shareholder transactions.
