Sydney Mann

Articling Student

Sydney is an Articling Student at Pitblado Law.

Sydney received her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2025. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Winnipeg.

While in law school, Sydney was heavily involved in the law school community. She served various roles on the executive board of the Indigenous Law Students Association from 2022 to 2025, including Internal Co-Chair, which required her to lead the Cultural Committee in planning and carrying out cultural events for Indigenous law students. Sydney also served on the executive board for Law Students for Human Rights and the Women’s Law Forum throughout her time in law school.

Sydney volunteered in two legal clinics in law school: the Human Rights Project, which assisted Edmonton community members in filing and pursuing human rights claims, and the Trans ID Clinic, which assisted community members in filing the relevant forms to change their legal names and/or gender markers on documents.

Outside of law school, Sydney enjoys walking her dog and doing New York Times puzzles.
