Pitblado Law is pleased to announce that Benjamin Hecht has assumed the role of Managing Partner of the Firm effective March 16, 2013. Benjamin succeeds Bruce King, who held the position for ten years. Bruce will continue with the Firm as a Partner practicing primarily in the areas of financial services, corporate and commercial, and commercial real estate law. Pitblado thanks Bruce for his years of dedicated service in the Managing Partner role.
Benjamin joined Pitblado in 2009 and became a Partner in 2011. In addition to his role as Managing Partner, Benjamin will continue serving clients in his practice, focusing on management side labour and employment, assisting clients in negotiating collective agreements, drafting workplace policies and employment agreements, and dealing with discipline, termination and all employment issues in the workplace. The lawyers and staff of Pitblado Law congratulate Benjamin on his appointment and look forward to continued success under his leadership.
