Pitblado Law was once again proud to be one of the title sponsors of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce State of the City Address with Mayor Brian Bowman. This was the fifth consecutive year that Pitblado was a sponsor of this event.
A capacity crowd of 1,200 business leaders attended the event and heard Benjamin Hecht, Managing Partner, provide opening remarks and address the audience on how much has changed in the business environment over the last five years. In particular, how the movements of inclusivity and diversity have reached monumental heights and continue to strive higher. He referenced that at Pitblado Law, we are proud that our firm has evolved and grown over the past years with a focused attention on this topic, and have seen an increase in female representation at all levels of the Firm.
In support of Mayor Brian Bowman’s commitment to ending homelessness in Winnipeg, the event was collecting donations of toothbrushes and toothpaste; Pitblado was proud to start the donations off with 100 toothbrushes!
