- Lead a team of lawyers to provide local due diligence to the underwriters of a multinational conglomerate, in respect of various public offerings of securities totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
- Has negotiated numerous commercial leases, including lease agreements for various national and international franchise chains.
- Acted as local counsel to a leading American e-commerce company with respect to their potential acquisition of facilities in Manitoba.
- Has acted for the vendors and purchasers on complex share and asset transactions in a wide variety of sectors including construction, education, transportation, retail and hospitality, and professional services.
- Acted for a large property development company on a variety of commercial matters.

Biography
Niall’s Corporate and Commercial law practice focuses on mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions (including asset and share transactions), re-organizations, financing transactions, corporate governance and various contractual arrangements. He provides a range of legal advice to large and small businesses, non-profit organizations, individuals and families.
In his Commercial Leasing practice, Niall works with landlords, tenants and property managers to create, review and negotiate lease agreements, and to assist with and navigate leasing issues. Niall has experience acting for clients in the retail, industrial and office sectors.
Niall attended law school at the University of Alberta and the University of Manitoba and received his law degree from Robson Hall in 2013. He became an Associate at Pitblado Law in June 2014. Prior to attending law school, Niall obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the I. H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba in 2009.
Niall is a proud Winnipegger and believes in giving back to the community. He has been an active member of Pitblado’s United Way Committee and previously sat on the Board of Directors of Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba.
