Niall's practice focuses primarily on Corporate and Commercial law, including asset and share transactions, corporate governance, leasing, and commercial real estate.

Niall has built a practice that focuses primarily on Corporate and Commercial law, including asset and share transactions, corporate governance, leasing and commercial real estate. He attended law school at the University of Alberta and the University of Manitoba and received his law degree from Robson Hall in 2013. He became an Associate at Pitblado Law in June 2014. Niall also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree from the I. H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba in 2009.

Niall is a proud Winnipegger and believes in giving back to the community. He currently sits on the Board of Directors, and is Chair of the Governance Committee of Variety, the Children’s Charity of Manitoba.

In his spare time, Niall enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, or relaxing at Lake of the Woods.

  • Lead a team of lawyers to provide local due diligence to the underwriters of a multinational conglomerate, in respect of various public offerings of securities totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.
  • Has negotiated numerous commercial leases, including lease agreements for various national and international franchise chains.
  • Acted as local counsel to a leading American e-commerce company with respect to their potential acquisition of facilities in Manitoba.
  • Has acted for the vendors and purchasers on complex share and asset transactions in a wide variety of sectors including construction, education, transportation, retail and hospitality, and professional services.
  • Acted for a large property development company on a variety of commercial matters.
