As previously communicated, in light of COVID-19, Pitblado Law continues to take various precautionary measures and adjust our operations to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients, families and the greater community. We continue to adapt as the situation evolves. To that end, effective March 23, 2020 the majority of the Pitblado Law lawyers will be working remotely. In addition, a number of support staff will also commence working remotely with more to follow.
Our office remains open and a complement of staff will be onsite to ensure that all reception, delivery, mail, and accounting functions continue to operate at full service levels.
The lawyers and support staff that are working remotely have access to a suite of technology, including tele-conference and video-conference capabilities, allowing us to continue to seamlessly provide service to you.
To protect our internal community that remains onsite, we have implemented social distancing in the workplace, enhanced our office sanitation efforts and put policies in place for business and personal travel, events and meetings. All scheduled face to face meetings, to the greatest extent possible, will be rescheduled or converted to tele-conference or video-conference calls. We also continue to provide our employees with the most up-to-date health and safety procedures as outlined by Health Canada, and the Province of Manitoba.
Please do not hesitate to contact your relationship partner, lawyer, or me, if you have any questions, or if we can be of assistance in guiding you through these new challenges.
We greatly value our relationships with you. We thank you in advance for your understanding and for your efforts to implement social distancing for the health and safety of our community. We are confident that we will get through this together and wish everyone the best during this difficult time.
Please take care and be safe,
Benjamin Hecht
