Biography
Kara has experience assisting clients with a broad range of legal issues, including contractual disputes, negligence, debtor and creditor litigation, personal injury and civil sexual assault claims. Kara also provides advice to regulatory bodies and administrative tribunals. Kara has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba, as well as various administrative tribunals.
Kara received her Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2018. Prior to studying law, she completed a 3-year Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Winnipeg. Outside of the practice of law, Kara currently sits on the Boards of Directors for Bravestone Centre and Heartwood Healing Centre, both non-profit charitable organizations.
