Pitblado Law congratulates Concordia Wellness Projects Inc. (“Concordia Village”) on the successful completion of its acquisition of Bergen Gardens from Appleton Holdings Ltd., operating as Edison Properties.
Bergen Gardens is an assisted living and memory care residence located in northeast Winnipeg. Opened in 2023, the residence is home to approximately 140 residents and employs 130 staff.
The acquisition expands Concordia Village’s seniors care operations through the addition of an established assisted living and memory care residence. The transaction also builds on a longstanding relationship between the Bergen family and Concordia Village, reflecting a shared commitment to seniors care and community wellness.
Pitblado Law acted as legal counsel to Concordia Village in connection with the acquisition.
